On late 1900, the young Spanish painter Pablo Picasso arrived in Montmartre, Paris, and started to build his very first circle.

The French painter and poet Max Jacob, his first friend met at the Vollard Gallery on mid-1901, the art dealer Berthe Berthe Weill, the first to buy his works to display them in her gallery, and finally the american writer and art collector Gertrude Stein, fascinated into modern art.

From the top of the « Butte Montmartre » to the metro station Pigalle, from the very first Picasso’s studio to the former « Galerie B. Weill », follow us and discover an artistic place unique in the world, and the first years of a young artist whom will offer to the art and its history one of its most famous movement : the Cubism.
